The KAUST Saudi Summer Internship (SSI) is a research program that aims to familiarize Saudi university students and fresh graduates with research subjects in Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and Statistics. The internship lasts between 6 to 8 weeks and enables students to work on individual research projects under the guidance of renowned scholars and experts. At the end of the program, students get the opportunity to present their research work.
Who can apply?
- Saudi citizens.
- Fresh graduate, senior undergraduate, or current master’s students in related areas of Applied Mathematics and Computational Sciences, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Statistics.
- Cumulative GPA equivalent to 3.5 out of 4.00 or above.
- Proficiency in English.
- Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for research projects.
