Birds in the KAUST Campus: Challenges and Solutions for Biodiversity Conservation

The upcoming seminar will explore birds’ importance in maintaining ecosystems’ health and the steps taken to protect thriving bird populations at KAUST and throughout the Kingdom. The seminar will provide insights into the diverse bird species found on campus, their habitat requirements, and the need for monitoring and preserving their populations.

It will also highlight ongoing conservation initiatives at KAUST. The talk will address challenges that bird populations face in urban environments, such as habitat loss, pollution, and climate change. Furthermore, it will emphasize the significance of actively supporting bird conservation efforts within our community.
