The rise of digital technology has revolutionized the field of public health. It has improved biomedical research, expanded scientific knowledge, enhanced health education, facilitated precision medicine, and accelerated the efficacy of public health. The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us the importance of the One Digital Health (ODH) concept. Health organizations around the world are now adopting the digital One Health approach to prevent and manage outbreaks of various diseases. In Saudi Arabia, there has been a significant push towards digital technologies since 2018, with a focus on supporting digital health delivery in line with the Saudi Arabian Vision 2030.

The Computational Bioscience Research Center (CBRC), the Biological and Environmental Sciences and Engineering (BESE) Division at KAUST and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) are delighted to invite everyone to their first joint international conference on Trends in “Microbiome and Digital One Health” to be held from October 30th -November 1st, 2023.
