Celebrating World Oceans Day at KAUST

Join us as we celebrate World Oceans Day on June 8th, 2024, under the theme “Catalyzing Action for Our Ocean & Climate.” This theme emphasizes the urgent need to take decisive action to protect our oceans and address climate change. Located on the pristine shores of the Red Sea, KAUST is deeply committed to marine research and conservation. Our cutting-edge work in marine biology, oceanography, and coastal sustainability underscores the significance of the oceans in our lives and the necessity to safeguard them for future generations. Let us honour our oceans together and support the groundbreaking research efforts that aim to ensure their health and vitality for years to come.
