Sustainability Seminar Series “Building a Sustainable Future Through Deep Tech Innovation”

The third event of the Fall 2022 Sustainability Seminar Series will take place on Thursday, December 1st, 2022, at 1:00 pm AST., titled “Building a Sustainable Future Through Deep Tech Innovation” by Hattan Ahmed, KAUST Entrepreneurship Center Director.

Abstract
Deep tech innovation is one of the critical components in finding solutions for global challenges. This session will address and highlight different thoughts on how founders and entrepreneurs can play a significant role in addressing major climate concerns toward building a sustainable future.

About the Speaker
Hattan is the Entrepreneurship Director at KAUST providing the university’s entrepreneurship vision. He thinks of young people as change agents of the future and that universities play a key role in forming national economic impact. In his role as an advocate for innovation, Hattan works across the entire entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Kingdom, delivering entrepreneurship training, creating corporate innovation programs, and investing in startups that will contribute to the national transformation agenda.
