Women to Impact (WTI) offers women a support framework for pursuing their education, advancing their careers, entering the high-tech industry, and building startups in STEM fields.
The group, which includes KAUST staff and faculty in its steering committee, aims to achieve this through the creation of innovative and inclusive programs and strategic partnerships.
The Early Career Accelerator Program (ECAP) was established to engage more women in IT and in the Saudi digital transformation. Participants have access to well-planned learning and development opportunities and on-the-job training to accelerate their readiness to compete and win job opportunities in the high-tech industry or in research institutions.
The Workshop for Women in Science and Engineering is a free, open workshop hosting by renowned scientists and engineers about their personal journeys, struggles, and life-changing approaches. Experts in gender equity will also share their recent discoveries.
The workshop also includes informative sessions on CV preparation, guidance on successful interviews, and leadership and time management techniques. This hybrid event allows women to attend in person and virtually.
WTI routinely organizes open challenges and competitions that inspire women in STEM to create technology-based solutions to global challenges through prototyping and data analysis. Participants can acquire new skills and compete for monetary prizes that can fund their ideas.
